Toby & Kora
Meet Toby and Kora, the most adorable pair of cattle dogs. We met up at East Point Beach, the perfect location for some beauty portraits in the dunes, followed by LOTS of games of stick-chasey.
When I start making my weird noises to get dogs' attention, it usually goes a couple of ways. Either they will look straight down the camera (sometimes with a head tilt), or they will completely ignore me. Kora, however, went for something completely different...
It was a little unfair of us to make these two pose, when the ocean (and sticks) were just right over there.
Toby was more than willing to keep posing it up, as long as those treats kept coming.
Kora, however, had had enough of this modelling stuff, and clearly indicated what she would prefer to be doing.
So we let them loose to play stick-chasey. How they play this, is Toby chases the stick, and Kora chases Toby. Someone commented when I shared their sneak peek that Toby is the 'branch manager'. I laughed a little too hard at that, but it is definitely true.
The sun was setting quickly, and we were heading back to the car, but I couldn't resist a couple more shots with the late afternoon light. Kora had definitely had enough of me by then, but Toby was still up for some modelling in exchange for chicken.
If you would like to book in for a pet photography session, you can find out all the details here.
Please note that all posed shots of Toby and Kora were taken on leash, and leashes were edited out during post-processing.
